Seminar: Reducing Business Risk with LIMS
Implementing LIMS can be intimidating for most people. What if the cost doesn’t meet the expectation, what if the system fails, what if the work becomes too rigid and etc. There is always a risk in any business. However, take it as an investment is all about spotting potential and taking a calculated risk.
The Matrix Gemini LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) from Autoscribe Informatics now features ‘Tree View Control’. Tree View, and a number of performance and security enhancements, are part of software release v5.4.5. This is now available to all current Matrix Gemini v5 users and, of course, will be supplied to all new customers.
Ebro is excited to announce they have released a new EBI 12 Data Logger. The new EBI 12 has upgraded electronics and will replace the popular EBI 10, 16 and EBI 100 family series. The EBI 12 will retain all the functionality of it’s predecessors and it will use colours (Red & Blue) to differentiate one model from the next.
LIMS needs to be ‘configured’ to meet individual requirements, but although most LIMS are described as ‘configurable’, there are two very different approaches to achieving the final system – true configuration and customization
Autoscribe Informatics and Agriya Analitika, would like to thank you all for taking time to visit our booth at Lab Indo 2018.

In this day and age, laboratory systems clearly need to be robust; handling large volumes of data, and producing accurate, well-presented reports are an integral part of lab operations. However, lab workers often face the frustration of rigid systems, which can place limitations on processes and overall output. Fully configurable LIMS offer a number of potential gains for the laboratory; we take a look at the most significant.
